Who we are
The Polyphony Singers are a passionate and committed musicians, with the talent and drive to succeed. Growing up amongst the vibrant and diverse music scene in Singapore, with such an environment full of inspiration and stimulation for the singers to feed off. BIO
Our Story
Starting out with just 4 members in March of 2020, we have recorded for churches and for online videos. Through the months, we have expanded to 11 in April 2021. We are now 17 strong in our 2024 lineup, have worked on pieces by Leslie Tolson, Thomas Tallis, J S Bach, Gabriel Faure, Eric Whitacre and Ola Gjeilo, and many others too! We also have added our very talented string quartet with us, making our ensemble be more vibrant and eclectic.
Directed by Leslie Tolson, a Music Theorist and Composer, he envisages to grow more in number and in the repertoire, with more composers and singers, musicians.

We have our dedicated AV team, who works with us when we have a session and recording deadlines, and they have enjoyed working with us.
LESLIE TOLSON
co-Founder and Conductor - Tenor
Leslie has passion in choral and orchestral composition focusing on Ethnomusicology, and went on to study music further. Leslie believes in Appreciation, Understanding and Ideation of the delivery and analysis of different genres of music. Currently, he focuses on Music History Theory Criticism Research, and teaches Composition.
ZACHARY SEBASTIAN
co-Founder and Pianist - Bass
Zachary is an avid pianist and Bass, who also arranges and gives constructive feedback on Choral Singing. He helps in the ideation of delivery and is sporadic with warm-ups with the choir.
